Breaking News: Scott Proctor Craps Pants

According to the Journal News, Joe Torre is set to become the manger of the Dodgers. Here is the word from Pete Abraham:

The Journal News is reporting that Joe Torre will be hired as manager of the Dodgers. The announcement could come as soon as today. Don Mattingly is in line to join his staff. Torre also is interested in Kevin Long. I suspect Long will stay with the Yankees but he is in demand. (source)


Scott Proctor has got to be worried right now. He actually did remotely well when he was not overused. He is already projected to pitch in 130 games next season under Torre.

All jokes aside, I hope Joe does well. I wish him the best of luck, and I really hope he does not pry Kevin Long away from the Yankees.

I'll tell you a true story:
I was in shea with my maet friend-abie- and they were playing the dodgers. proctor is shagging fly balls (he's a pretty good outfielder) before the game, and everyone's screaming for a ball. He ignored averyone. Then me and Abie scream out HEY SCOTTIE!! TORRE WANTS YOU TO PITCH IN THE BRONX TONIGHT AFTER THIS GAME!
He turns his head. We realize we touched a nerve. So we started killing torre. He threw us three balls.

good thing you did not bring up that woman he supposedly got pregnant from that YES Network reality show-he may have tried to bean you with them.
