I'd love to see Jon Lackey in pinstripes. Can you imagine the strength of that rotation? CC, Lackey, AJ, Andy and Hughes? They'd be a lock for #28. Especially if they resign Damon and bolster the bench with a good backup catcher and outfielder.

I'm not really worried about how Joba effects Chapman or visa versa. He's 21 years old without a true secondary pitch. If the Yankees sign him he's probably not going to contribute until 2011 or 2012.

Tough loss for the Yankees last night. Here’s hoping they can get things done in Game 6 with ol’ reliable, Pettite on the mound against Saunders at home. I’ve got a good feeling. Definitely don’t want to go to game 7, even with CC on the hill. Let’s hope Girardi doesn’t keep hurting us like I think he has so far!!!

if its true that it was actual steroids, what a dumbass. this MIGHT take some pressure off arod since manny's positive test and arods return is around the same time, but arod puts a lot of pressure on himself as well

Living in California this is all over the place right now. I was kinda shocked when I woke up to this being plastered all over ESPN. As they just said Manny is saying it was something given to him by a doctor so we will see how this plays out. As for a-rod, I don't think it'll take a whole lot of of pressure off of him.

I saw Berroa at the Scranton Wilkes/Barre minor league game 2 weeks ago. I said he would never get called up because he was short stop which is Mr. Jeter's position. I am very excited!!!
